Hello, Deep Freezer 6.0 is neither in my taskbar nor in my "msconfig" or "appwiz.cpl" (add and remove) and it is active because I reboot and it erases everything so I can't do anything and plus it's no longer in my "regedit" (registry) or in Programs Files!!!! Thank you for helping me with this bug WITHOUT HAVING TO FORMAT :)

To display the Deep Freeze icon in the taskbar, it's very easy: click on "Computer," then on "Local Disk C," then on "Program Files," then click on the "Faronics" folder, then on the "Deep Freeze" folder, then on the "Install C-O" folder, then on the "SDF" folder, and finally on the "frzstate2k" file, and the Deep Freeze icon will appear in the taskbar.
THANK YOU!

Hi,
I have the same problem, which is that Deep Freeze disappears from the taskbar. I tried using the keyboard shortcuts to open the window but to no avail. I looked for Deep Freeze in Regedit, and I found it active by searching its value via the word UpperFilters. Likewise, it is still active in c:program files. However, Deep Freeze does not exist in msconfig. I tried using WIN PE 2.0 to boot but I couldn't find its value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Please note that I am using Deep Freeze 6.20.220.1692 on Windows Vista.
Can someone help me remove this Deep Freeze? What software allows me to boot my PC under Vista?
Thank you in advance!!!

Listen!!! If you are using the latest version of Deep Freeze, with the white bear icon, here is the link to the image http://static.hugedomains.com/images/logo_huge_domains.gif, I believe it is version 6 or higher, you may encounter this issue. Actually, it is not a problem, but you just need to know how to handle it because in my opinion, it’s for more security.
Here’s how to restart your PC: when it starts displaying the desktop, you need to be ready because the icon appears for a few seconds and disappears, and there is a message that appears on the desktop related to Deep Freeze that also disappears in a few seconds. You need to click on this message as soon as it appears so that the icon does not disappear from the taskbar. Then press Shift (the arrow key pointing up) which is above the Ctrl button, and hold it down while double-clicking on the Deep Freeze icon. This will give you a small window to configure Deep Freeze (disable and enable/set a password).
I hope this helps and good luck.

I'm giving you a very effective tip
restart your PC, enter the BIOS, set your PC's date forward by about 6 months to a year, and then boot Windows normally. You'll find that your deep freeze is disabled by itself, and you can delete it. Thanks
