Unable to retrieve my Epson XP2105 password

Hello,

I can’t retrieve the password for my printer. I saw that I needed to press a button for 10 seconds, which I did, but I only get blank pages when I do that.
How can I find the password?

Thank you for your help

Configuration: iPhone / Safari 15.4

By repeatedly settling for incorrect formulations, we'll end up believing them.

The SSID of the box and its key have absolutely nothing to do with WiFi Direct.

Hello, the goal is to connect my printer via Wi-Fi Direct and to do that I need the printer's password.

    Hello,

Look at the printer manual (which you can download here)

    Starting from page 23.

Hello, I have looked at and completed all the steps, but I am stuck on the Wi-Fi Direct password part. The password is supposed to print out, but I only have blank sheets.

Have you thought about replacing the black cartridge?

It's not the printer's password, it's the key for the remote wifi network (AP = access point) created by the printer
        Do you really need it?

Hello, so far I've made a photocopy, I haven't printed yet since I don't have the password.
As for the age, no idea, I bought it on the second-hand site.

I didn't understand, did the photocopy print???

    Don't you have a box?

I just realized that my printer is an HP
I don't use wifi direct, but the box and powerline adapter

The network name is: DIRECT-29-HP (it's not useful to you)
    The password: 12345678 (to try)
The frequency is 2.4 GHz and the speed is 54 Mbit/s

I use the informal "tu" with everyone.

      Hello,
I've never printed, I just made a photocopy (the device can do both).

      Yes, I have a box
I tried your password, it doesn't work.

    So the printing doesn't work

no need to look elsewhere, the print head must be clogged or downright dead from old age

if you can take out the print block, soak it in isopropyl alcohol (any other product would permanently ruin the seals), obviously without the cartridges

did you want to bypass pairing with the box, thinking that Wi-Fi Direct would yield better results?

I didn't even try to connect it to the box because I don't have the cable, I will buy the cable and connect it to the box to see if it works, if it doesn't, I will take out the print block.

Thank you very much for your help.

no cable is needed for a device with wifi.

As mentioned above, I do not have the password to connect to Wi-Fi Direct; the only solution is to connect it to the box, for which a cable is needed.

Wi-Fi Direct is the Wi-Fi key of your box, located on the back of it!
