Hello,
I am creating a mail merge file to print labels (over 300 references). These labels are in the form of a table, so far, so good, it is managed by Word!
My problem is that I have 2 fields of information that need to be on the same line, and I am unable to create 2 columns of text within the same cell (hence the same label/image attached).
Without mail merge, I would have simply added a "text box" for my second piece of information, and that would have been that. But now, the merge does not work properly with the "text box" (what happens is that the info is always the same on one page, but it can change from one page to another).
Since I am not the final recipient of this file, it has to be simple, so I must stick to Word (InDesign could have done the job otherwise), thank you very much for your help!

Hello.
I have trouble understanding what bothers you: it seems to me that it’s enough to place the 2 fields on the same line, separated by a tab or spaces...
Why "make 2 columns of text"?

Hello,
I’m not quite sure how your labels are set up, but here’s a simple solution for creating complex labels:

Hello, thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, the tabulation or spaces create too much of a shift depending on the number of characters in my field once merged!
Nevertheless, @Marina, your solution works very well! I'm used to inserting tables with a right click, but it doesn't work in a table! By going directly into the tabs, it's fine! Thank you very much!
