Hello,
Yesterday, my computer crashed while I had a Calc file open, and since then I can no longer open this file. I cannot access it either by clicking on the shortcut I have on my desktop or from the file shown in Windows 10 Explorer. Given these difficulties, I saw a Libre Office option (Safe Mode) that I launched. The file opened with a page where I tried both options: Continue in Safe Mode or Restart in Normal Mode, the file then opens correctly and in Normal Mode I can modify and save it. But I can't access it from the desktop, from the explorer, or from the Windows application list, only in Safe Mode.
Given these difficulties, I updated and installed version 7.3.1, the installation went smoothly with the Help French package. The previous version was 7.2.6, I update as soon as updates are available.
But the startup problem persists, and to open my documents I have to go through Windows Applications, choose Safe Mode, Restart in Normal Mode to be able to modify or read my Calc documents.
My question: where should I clean up to eliminate this error and restore proper functionality?
In a tidying-up effort, I ran a complete CCleaner and an ADWCleaner that found a PUP that constantly lingers on my computer, PUP quarantined.

Sorry to be so long, but I have no other information to provide as I don't know where Windows hides its errors when opening an application.

I thank those who will help me. Have a great day everyone.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 99.0.4844.74

    Hello
In case of malfunction, try purging the profile
Close Open Office or Libre Office
Press the WINDOWS key (a flag) and R (simultaneously).
    -Then, type %appdata%
-Look for the OpenOffice or LibreOffice folder
    -Rename it OldOpenOffice or OldLibreOffice

Great, impossible to find it alone with google.fr.
I have only "lost" the list of recently used files, a loss that is ultimately not very penalizing.

Thank you very much and have a nice day.

I mark the subject as Resolved.
