Laptop not recognizing its charger but...

Hello,
I have a rather strange case.... my Honor MagicBook 15 laptop no longer recognizes its original charger (USB-C port). From there, I performed various tests that led me to a strange situation:
- the laptop charges (very slowly, too slowly to be on and charge at the same time) with my smartphone charger (also USB-C)
- my smartphone charges with my laptop charger!!! (I'm not playing around by leaving it connected for too long). This shows that my laptop charger is fine.
The issue seems to be related to the power management of the charger by my laptop... I tried uninstalling the battery in the device manager, draining the laptop and holding down the power button, driver updates.... nothing works.

Before I take it for repairs, do you have any leads? There are some pretty crazy things going on anyway.... thanks for your help :).

    Hello
It's very common when the charger is worn out or faulty; it provides the voltage but not enough power (current) to fulfill its role.
It's sufficient for a smartphone that requires less power (small battery) but not for the MagicBook.
Check the labeling on the MagicBook charger, which should be 65W output, or approximately 3A at 15/20 volts.
Replace it with a charger with a minimum of 65W.
    See you later
