Hello, I have a little problem that I hope you will be able to solve.
I would like to customize my PS3 with various photos and add some music, but when I plug my USB stick into the port of controller 1 or 2 of the PS3, nothing happens; the machine does not recognize anything. I created a folder named PS3 on the stick and put my data in there, and still nothing??????
I hope you can enlighten me, thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Prerequisite: Your USB drive must be compatible AND formatted in FAT.

From there, when you insert your USB drive into the PS3, you will see "USB device" appear in the photo, video, and music menus.

Do you get that far?

Next, to view your photos (in .jpg format) on your USB drive, you need to put them in a folder called "PHOTO" (and not PS3). For videos and music, I believe it's "MUSIC" and "VIDEO".

The "PS3" folder is for other things... themes (PS3/THEME), the PSP...

Once you have imported photos onto the PS3, you can choose some to associate with your PS3 login. I put a thumbnail for each family member; it's nice!

PS1, PS2, PS3 and still Lara Croft!

Mine is also in FAT32, but it apparently needs to be formatted to FAT only. However, try PS3 Server; it works too if you have Wi-Fi.
