Hello,
Like many people, I found that my printer is stuck with a code 5B02.
I've been searching and trying to follow their instructions, but I can't manage to download the application: 0 tool V3400.
Could you please help me?
You previously helped me with a nasty virus, "seguarro," for which I thank you again.
I look forward to hearing from you. I really don't want to change the printer that isn't broken.
Thanks again. I'm counting on you.
Best regards.

The exact procedure to reset the ink counter of the Canon MG 4250 printer
1► Turn off the printer
2► Connect it via USB (no WIFI for this operation).
3► Turn on the printer to load the necessary drivers via USB.
4► Turn off the printer.
5► Press the Resume button (red triangle in a red circle), while holding it, press Power.
6► As soon as the Power light is solid on, release the Resume button and press it 5 more times.
7► Release both buttons, the power light will blink and then become solid.
The printer is now in Service mode
✅ Launch the Service Tool V3400 program you downloaded from the link indicated in #3
8► In the Set Destination section, change JPN (Japan) to EUR)
9► In the Main tab, click on EEPROM and from the dropdown menu that opens, select Cassette.
10► The printer will print a diagnostic sheet.
11► The second line marked D indicates the counters in percentage of BK and CL (black and color).
12► To reset, in the Clear ink counter section, select Main_Black in the Absorber menu then confirm by clicking Set.
13► In the Set Destination section, change JPN (Japan) to EUR)
14► Go back to the Absorber menu and repeat the operation with Main_Color
15► Click again on EEPROM then CASSETTE, on the printed sheet, at line “D” the counters should have returned to 0.
The printer has been reset.
I should specify that this operation is a workaround that allows the printer to restart and print, it should be followed by cleaning the absorber pad to avoid overflow......
And that, is another story as you need to disassemble the printer to access the ink absorber, and especially to find a replacement one online!!
