I can't remove my Messenger account from the (change account) option because I long-press the account I want to remove and then click on the trash can, and then they tell me that this account is also connected to Facebook on this device. You need to log out of this account on Facebook to delete the account, any solution please??

    I had the same problem. Go to the phone settings, then Accounts on the phone, then Facebook account, then delete the various Facebook accounts on your device, and then try to delete the account in Messenger again.
