Unable to download the app: "YouTube is not compatible"

Question

Hi, I solved the problem (iPad disabled), but now I can't download Facebook, YouTube, etc. It always says it's not compatible with this iPad. Please help me, thank you.

Hello,  Operating system (iOS) updates are offered automatically; it's possible to search for them by going to "settings" => If it says that your device is up to date, it means it is indeed "up to date." => This means that your iOS is considered "outdated" by Apple => The latest version on the market will not install (September 2021: iOS 15).   To continue installing applications, there is a trick. CCM Article: https://www.commentcamarche.net/mobile/ios/791-installer-des-applis-sur-iphone-ou-ipad-avec-une-ancienne-version-d-ios/  If the procedure is done correctly, it looks like this (except for case 1/):  => For older iOS versions, the YouTube application is case 4/.  As soon as it's in "Purchases" (a list of all downloads):  1/ It still displays an incompatibility message; as soon as you see the word "requires," it means that the application did not exist at the time your iOS was created or that older versions of the application have been removed from the App Store (for technical reasons, I hope...).  2/ It installs and everything works perfectly.  3/ It installs, but without the latest versions, the application is unusable after installation!  4/ It installs but works with difficulty (frequent crashes). Hello,   Alternative: Just use the browser: Safari in desktop mode ;-)  If that doesn't work: Install another browser (Firefox / Google Chrome app).  Enable desktop mode in a browser: Once you are on the page (https://xxxxxxx), look at the browser edges (top and bottom). => 3 vertical dots or 3 horizontal lines. => desktop mode should be offered (it won't ask for the app anymore). -- .
