Hello,
I'm stuck at the Windows startup screen and can't use my USB keyboard and mouse, so I can't enter my password.
I previously tried uninstalling my USB drivers because I had a problem with the USB 3.0 ports (which stopped working).
Both devices are functional (both lights are on), and I can use them in both the BIOS and the recovery tools.
I tried to do a Windows recovery while keeping my personal files, but the problem is not resolved. I think one of the drivers for the USB ports is missing, which prevents me from using both devices.
Does anyone know the solution?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
From another PC, you can download AOMEI PE Builder and create a USB drive to copy your data, browser profile, etc., elsewhere than on C:\
https://www.ubackup.com/pe-builder.html
Boot from it using the PC's Boot menu
https://www.malekal.com/liste-touches-acces-bios-boot-menu-constructeur/
If you don’t see it, you can search on Google for “[Brand Model] Boot Menu Key”
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Use the tool to create a USB drive to update, repair, or reinstall Windows
Windows 11 if compatible, you can check with WhyNotWin11
https://github.com/rcmaehl/WhyNotWin11/releases
Windows 8 https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows8ISO/
Windows 10 https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10/
Windows 11 https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows11
If you already have the Windows ISO file that you can download from the tool, you can create your USB drive with Rufus
If the PC is old, you need to create the drive in MBR mode
If it is recent (Windows 8 or above) in GPT mode > For Windows 11 GPT
Boot from it using the PC's Boot Menu
Choose "Custom installation" (Not upgrade)
Delete all system partitions and create a new one (This will delete the data).

Thank you for your response. Is there any way to install drivers from the boot without completely formatting the PC? I was hoping to avoid going through that.
In other words, with a Boot CD, place the files where they need to be so that they install at startup.
But before startup, you have your password...
