Hello,
I have a problem with my Instagram account. Since yesterday, I have received a message from Instagram asking me to verify that I am the owner of my account by entering the code sent via sms to the number associated with my account. The only catch is that I have changed my phone number and therefore no longer have access to the texts sent to my old number.
I thought I just needed to change my phone number on my account, but that is impossible; the pop-up prevents me from accessing my account.
I want to emphasize that I do not have an email address or an associated Facebook account, and I followed Instagram's procedure "I still need help", where I indicated that I no longer had access to the associated phone number and sent a video for their service to verify that it is indeed my account. They confirmed it was my account, but instead of allowing me to change the associated phone number, they suggested changing my password.
I also tried to contact their help service, but received no response, and my old number seems to be assigned to someone else, but it’s exactly the same situation.
If anyone could help me recover my account, I would greatly appreciate it, especially since this account contains many important conversations to me.

In that case, it's done; you'll have to create a new account...
For your information, it's stated on the support page of the site in question that without the email address or phone number, account recovery is impossible.

Thank you for the quick response, but I see only one option left: try to contact my old phone number if it is indeed linked. I believe it is because when I send a message to that number, my phone automatically sends it via iMessage.
