GENIUS Wireless Keyboard and Mouse

Hello,

I have a Genius keyboard and mouse, and I frequently encounter functionality issues.
Suddenly, the mouse or keyboard stops working in the middle of my work. Since they are connected via USB, it seems that the problem comes from there. When I disconnect and then reconnect, they sometimes work again. And if I plug in a USB flash drive, it crashes. Do you have any idea how to fix this?

P.S.: I have already installed the new drivers.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hi,

    Yes, I already have my idea, a power issue. If, as you said, you connect a USB stick on top of that and your input devices (keyboard, mouse) stop working, it can only be that :/

    Do you mean I have to change the power supply unit of the tower?
    How can I test to see if that's really it before making the change?
