Ink Absorber Cleaning?

Hello, I'm currently trying to see if we can clean an ink absorber or not because I know I can buy a new one, but is there a possibility to clean it?

    Hello ....

    If you want my opinion, it's not worth dismantling the ink absorber of this printer to clean it and then reassemble it... and it's not certain that it will work?
    This part costs around €15 + shipping and you'll be sure to have something new....
    Don't forget to reset the used ink counter to zero after replacing the pad...
