Hello,
I had a small request regarding a phone. I’m not sure if it’s possible. I couldn’t find a solution. My mother has a Samsung S7 smartphone that overheated and its screen has gone black. Only the backlight of the buttons is still working. I would like to recover her photos and phone contacts, but the problem is that her phone is not in debugging mode. Therefore, I can’t get it recognized by the PC. I’ve tried several software programs, but they all require debugging. I don't want to repair it, I just want to recover the data. There’s no SD card and nothing on the SIM card. Everything is in the phone's memory. Is it possible, in your opinion, to extract the data from the phone? Thank you in advance for your advice.

Hello,
this isn't a "little request"... it's not certain that it's feasible... But it takes a lot of time, explanations via the forum are not possible, it would be a real journal.. and the result is uncertain...
In my opinion, the simplest solution is to replace the whole 'screen+touchpad' to be able to recover the data... here's an example for about €75
https://www.ebay.fr/p/5027212626?iid=154531882896
Then, you can resell the repaired smartphone (for €100) so you'll have recovered everything "for nothing"
For me, this is the cheap and effective solution...
The other option is to connect it to a computer-type screen and also plug in a mouse, to validate your settings options... and then use software that retrieves the data...
That said, maybe all of this is in the cloud... and recoverable on another smartphone.. If the cloud was set up..??
Implementing all this and mastering its operation... you need to be a professional; and not everyone does that... That's why I propose this solution.
