Hello,
A few days ago, I changed my black ink cartridge. I printed a photo directory in black and white. The result was very satisfactory; however, when I tried to reprint the same document, the result was poor. I tried to resolve the issue by cleaning the heads, aligning them, and running the diagnostics which concluded that everything was fine; yet, with each new print, it seems like the black leaves smudges and the text becomes unreadable.
Can someone help me solve this problem? Thank you

Hello,
For me, it's the quality of the ink that does it... Too liquid I suppose... Maybe it's not the same grade of ink..??
If it's a generic one, there can be variations, you need to ask for another one
Is the print head changed at the same time too..?? if the head is attached to the cartridges.
You also have to consider the paper... if it's blotting paper, it makes smudges..-
I think it's because of the cartridge; I assume it's a generic one? If so, it needs to be replaced and a branded cartridge should be put back in, as generics are often of poor quality and can damage the system.
- Yes, you are right; indeed, it is a generic. I recently bought it at "électro-dépôt"... It's an 18ml that empties at a rapid pace. Should I bring it back and claim, in your opinion? It cost me over 20 euros, not to mention the "hours" spent and especially wasted trying to resolve the issue....
In any case, thank you very much for your response (much more useful than all the tutorials I have watched so far) and have a good evening.
