Windows 11 Deskjet 3639 Printer Not Scanning Anymore

Hello,

Since I switched to Windows 11, my HP Deskjet 3639 printer no longer scans (it still prints, however).

I've tried:
- HP Print and Scan Doctor: asks me to reinstall the original driver
- uninstalling and reinstalling the printer with the driver from HP: still not able to scan (seems not to recognize the USB connection)
- changing the USB cable: same thing, printing OK but still no scanning
- "troubleshoot compatibility": nothing
- using VueScan: not detected, this model is not on the list of supported printers.

Note that my personal printer, a newer Epson, had the same problem. I ran "troubleshoot compatibility" and it was resolved.
Is there a similar solution for my printer?

    Hello,
    I had the same problem. After several attempts, I tried to "remove" the printer from the devices. I restarted the print/scan driver. I was then offered the reinstallation of the printer. The scanner is working again!
