Hello,
since I changed some cartridges (still using original HP cartridges), my printer won't restart. The message "ink cartridge incompatible" is displayed? I took out the print head, cleaned it with glasses wipes, but nothing helps. I'm thinking it might be a reset issue with the printer? But how do I do that?

After checking the 4 cartridges (purchased in the same pack), the black one is marked made in Malaysia and the 3 color ones made in China...
I was leaning more towards a software bug at the time of replacement, as it seems like the printer is stuck, no matter what I do, as soon as I close the lid, the screen displays "the installed head should not be used with this printer or is damaged..." But without taking the time to do any checks! And as a result, no function is usable, and it's the same on the computer. -
Do your cartridges come from the same country zone?
There are 3 or 4 country zones... Cartridges purchased in Asia will not work in the USA or Africa...
