Hi, I've been using the following methods for 2 years and my CPU is perfectly stable. I have an R7 2700x which also caused me problems at first due to the EDC (CPU) changing constantly.
You can simply configure 2 profiles with RyzenMaster.
One at stock, meaning with the processor's base frequencies to be stable when idle and when you're browsing, and another for when you're using more demanding applications with higher frequencies.
or
You can directly overclock your processor via the BIOS and find a good Voltage/Frequency ratio.
or you can do as indicated in the example: https://forum.hardware.fr/hfr/Hardware/Processeur/edc-ryzen-sujet_1038481_1.htm
