CPU 60°C idle

Hello,

I would like to know if 60~65°C at idle is normal, and if not, what should be done?
I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and the stock cooler.

Hi,
Disable core boost performance in the BIOS.

Hello, even with the stock cooler from AMD it's still a bit high, what kind of case do you have? And how many chassis fans?

Hello, my case is a Corsair Spec-Delta, with 3 fans in the front and 1 in the back.

  By the way, on CS:GO, overnight I experienced a drop in FPS from around 200 FPS to 90-100 FPS, that's why I'm wondering if it's due to the temperature of the processor, so I would like to know if that's the case or not, please.

    No, I don't think so. For the processor to throttle its performance due to heat, it needs to reach a much higher temperature, around 100°C.
    To be safe, I recommend investing in a new cooler that will be significantly more efficient and quieter than the one you have.

    I can’t tell you, I don’t know much about water cooling; I definitely prefer a good CPU cooler.

In stress tests, it reached around 80°C, peaked at 87°C, and during gaming, it is around 70°C in low settings on CSGO.

    Ok, download OCCT => HERE (do not update) then run an OCCT test with a small data set for 5 minutes. A report will need to be saved at the end of the test (note that you are only allowed one attempt with the free version).
