Keepass: How to convert kdb files to kdbx

Hello

I've been using Keepass on PC and smartphone for a long time without any issues, but always with version 1, generating kdb files.

Now that the update on my smartphone has switched to version 2, I'm looking to convert my kdb files to kdbx.

I've made various attempts on my PC, but they result in an error message in English that I don't understand.

    Hello.

    It's been a long time since I've used KeePass, so I can't give you the exact steps to resolve your issue.

    According to the error message, you cannot directly load your file because it comes from an older version.

    Also, according to the message, you should:
    - Create a new database file
    - Click on "File," then "Import," and in the dialog box, choose "KeePass KDB (1.x)"

    I think this will import the data from your old database into the new one, which will be in the new format.
