Hello,
I’ve had my boombox for a month now, but one day, I started having trouble turning it on all of a sudden, like in the early days when I first got it, just by pressing the on button and it would start up in a few seconds.
But now, for the past few weeks, to turn it on, I have to press the on button several times, and finally, after a lot of persistence, it turns on. But once it’s on, it works perfectly, but as soon as I turn it off, it’s the same scenario to turn it back on. However, when I plug it into the power, I can manage to turn it on right away by pressing the on button.
So here’s my real problem; I hope at least one of you has had this kind of issue before and I ask you to share your experience with me.
Thank you and have a great day in the love of Christ.

Hello, I've had the problem for two weeks, I've tried all the suggestions found on the forums, nothing worked; And this Sunday, August 1st, 2021, at 11:12 PM, I thought of something.
Given that there is a Bluetooth system, there should be updates, so on my Samsung I installed the app "JBL Portable: Formerly named JBL Connect" through the Play Store for Android. Then I launched the app on the phone and you will see the "Settings" symbol at the bottom with maybe an orange dot on it, which means there is an update pending; just click on it and you’ll start the update, but first you need to connect the boombox to the mains power, then connect your phone's Bluetooth and the app will detect the boombox and then you can start the update which will take about 6 minutes or less, it will restart the boombox once the update is complete. You will turn it off and then turn it back on without any issues..... mine is working fine now..... Good luck;

A big thank you. I had the same issue as you. I went through a lot of forums to find a solution???? and when I came across your comment, I thought "give it a try, who knows"???? and seriously, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I did exactly what you advised, downloaded the app and updated it. And it works! It turns on and off perfectly normally with the power button!
Thanks again!! And have a good evening.
thanks for the info my speaker has come back to life
