Hello,
I installed the update for JBL with the JBL Connect app and since I unplugged it, it doesn't turn on and when I plug it back in it doesn't indicate that it's charging.

      Hi guys, well I have the solution: hold down the Bluetooth button and the play button at the same time until it turns off, then turn it back on, and yes, you need to plug it in and do this once it's on.
