Hello,
From several days I have this issue: the wireless mouse works on the two clicks and the wheel works, but it ticks (selects) and does not stop ticking on everything. Quite annoying on certain settings because I cannot adjust them. I tried with another wired mouse and it's the same. What happened? Thank you very much for your help.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 92.0.4515.107

Hello. Checking or unchecking does not depend on the mouse but on the open program.
Does the problem appear in all programs or in a particular one?
Since when exactly?

Test the disk and file integrity.
Download the program, install it and run it (careful, choose the program correctly: crystaldiskinfo, not crystaldiskmark !) :
https://crystalmark.info/en/software/crystaldiskinfo/
Provide the disk status.
Then, press the Windows key + X and click on PowerShell (admin) and copy the command:
CHKDSK /F /X
Respond with "o" and restart the PC.
Finally, open a PowerShell window (admin) and enter the command:
SFC /SCANNOW and validate
Without closing the window, copy the command:
DISM /ONLINE /CLEANUP-IMAGE /RESTOREHEALTH then validate.
For this command, you must be connected to the internet.
Provide the result of these two commands.

Hello and thank you for your response yesterday evening. I went out for some air by the sea. I’m not very proficient and I’m always afraid of losing everything. I’ll still try. There have certainly been updates or... for several days now, Google Agenda on my PC isn’t syncing, and calendars aren’t colored anymore, okay on my smartphone. I’ll keep you posted. See you later.

Oops!
hello
I am not forgivable and very angry with myself
I downloaded and ran Cleaner
as I feared losing data
I started with the D power supply: I unplugged everything, including the tiur
I had already done it before asking the question
I had unplugged everything; storms last weekend
I plugged everything back in, all outlets are on an uninterruptible power supply
and I heard the printer start...
One of the outlets must have been poorly connected
Then, everything works; the mouse too
Sorry for bothering you for nothing
thanks and have a good weekend

Thank you for your response
I thought it was coming from the mouse
the problem appears on some sites for a while and for a few days on the settings
Lately I made some adjustments, my screen on Windows 10 was black and the writing white
yesterday I tried to print, everything seems properly connected
I can copy but not print
I searched on Google and found that the printer was probably offline. I tried to uncheck that box and it is impossible
idem to check or not in the settings Google Chrome
I obviously turned everything off for several hours
hence my question
Have a good day -
I like to understand and it was so simple that I didn’t understand
it was so simple and I had already done it at the beginning of the week
I rarely use Clener and I uninstall it quickly as well as Avast which keeps creeping in to clean
have a good day
