Cambridge Azur 851A amplifier problem: keeps going into standby mode.

Hello,

For the past few days, my Cambridge Azur 851A amplifier (with Focal 936 speakers) has been going into standby mode while the source is active (multiple sources), several times without any error message! I checked the speaker connections, all good, I removed the auto PWD shutdown mode, it worked fine for a few days and then the problem returned... randomly, without forcing the volume, and no excessive heating. I moved the amplifier during use thinking it might be a soldering issue, but it didn't go into standby. I reconnected it, same issue.
This amplifier is a little over 2 years old, too late for the warranty.
Do you have any idea? Thank you
Have a good evening.

Hello, I'm preparing my answers just in case someone has an idea..
The problem reappeared yesterday with IR disabled, and several times in a short period: went into sleep mode several times!
I unplugged it, held the power button down long to drain the circuits just in case..
To be continued, but very annoying...

Hello,
No alarm...?
Is the volume of the source high enough...?

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...

Hello, it goes into sleep mode or turns off as if I were pressing the button on the front or the remote control, no unusual display or sound.
The phenomenon can occur a few minutes after powering on, or 30 minutes later, etc.
I set it to auto pwd off mode to avoid automatic shutdown when there are no active sources, same thing.
Maybe a problem with the power button contact on the front...
In any case, it happens at any listening level and with any source...
And I don't have a source volume: turntable and CD player...

No specific idea about the problem.
However, for adjusting the source volumes, please refer to the manual
- on page 37 Input Gain Compensation
- on page 38 Fixed Level Inputs
The manual https://techsupport.cambridgeaudio.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/200281811/Azur_851A_User_Manual_French.pdf

Hello, thank you for this information
I have taken note of this part of the documentation, indeed
but I have already checked and there are no changes in these 2 options
I contacted Easylounge's customer service as I purchased this amplifier from them
(as well as the Focal Aria 936)
I would really be bothered to have to send it for repair (out of warranty, it has been a few months) but I would be even more bothered not being able to have it repaired!
I removed the clipping limitation option from the settings, I tested it last night, I didn’t have the problem, but well, when I disabled the auto pwd option, I didn’t have the problem for several days and then it came back...

another possibility? :
the electrical connections of my hi-fi elements go through a standard power strip (including that of the amplifier), could there be a cause and effect? while it worked fine before?
just in case, I'm going to try a different power connection...

Hello, to evolve the subject:
after various tests, including turning the "front IR" option to OFF (remote module OFF on the front), the problem seems to no longer occur! supposedly...
I tested it like this for over a month and had no issues, and I use the amp quite often.
So, an external element could be affecting the standby mode; it's surprising, I have 2 hi-fi remotes, one from the amp and another from a Marantz CD player, some functions of which interact with the Cambridge amp (including A/M)
but I don't believe it comes from a remote... could it be an IR module issue? influence from another device? surprising
for now, I'm leaving the IR disabled.
To be continued.

I don't know where you stand with your issue, but could it be related to the batteries in the amplifier's remote control?
