Denon amplifier HDMI connection issue with TV box

Question

Bravo pour votre communauté : je vais évoquer un souci certainement déjà soulevé mais je n'arrive pas à m'en sortir : je possède un ampli AVR 1311, jusqu'à maintenant tout fonctionnait très bien mais j'ai changé l'installation de place, donc tout éteint, etc. Mon problème, c'est que plus rien ne fonctionne. Mes branchements étaient ainsi : ma box TV en HDMI sur HDMI SAT/CABL de l'ampli, PS3 en HDMI GAME sur l'ampli, et la télé en HDMI OUT MONITOR de l'ampli vers HDMI 1 de la télé. J'ai un son qui sort, et encore pas sur toutes les enceintes, mais plus aucune image. Quand je relie directement la box à la télé en HDMI, ça marche, sauf que j'ai un son très mauvais de la télé !! Je ne vois pas d'où ça vient. J'ai bidouillé un peu dans le menu de l'ampli Denon, très mal fait à mon goût. L'ampli démarre sur RECEIVER SAT/CABL H=HDMI 3 ? Or la source HDMI sur ma télé est HDMI 1. Est-ce que ça vient de là et si c'est le cas, comment faire pour changer HDMI 3 en HDMI 1 ? J'espère que vous m'aurez compris  Merci à vous

So since then I've managed to get sound from the amp by making a few adjustments to the amp, but there's still no HDMI picture from the box to the HDMI amp sat/cable and HDMI Out monitor to HDMI 1 TV. I notice that the box is only sending sound to the amp because if I unplug the HDMI Out monitor cable, I still have sound!! It's as if the video signal no longer exists between the amp and the TV, and what worries me are those sparks; could that have burned out the HDMI ports on the amp? I'm thinking about the optical cable, but everything worked perfectly without it! It's surprising!! Best regards

Good evening,  Could you please give me the BRAND and the EXACT MODEL of EVERY DEVICE? This is so that I can better inform you about the connections to be made; the references are generally indicated on the back of the devices. One detail that I didn't mention, which initially seemed unimportant: before losing all image on the TV, I had to manipulate something behind the TV. The image was poor, and I was playing with the HDMI cable that was connected to HDMI 1 TV and HDMI out monitor amp. While moving the pin of the cable behind the TV, there was a spark, and the pins became stuck in HDMI 1 of the TV; I had to use pliers to remove it. However, I have connected the box directly to HDMI 1 TV, the one where the sparks occurred, and everything is working. My question is, could this have damaged the HDMI out monitor output? And how can I be sure about the others? I tested them, and there was no image from game, DVD, BD... nothing thank you

Ok, I see what it's about ;-)  But before going further, I have a few questions for you:  Have you checked that all the HDMI connectors are properly seated?  Are your HDMI cables still in good condition?  Are the wires from your speakers properly connected to the terminals?  Do you not have a DVD or Blu-ray player? Or do you use the PS3?  Regarding the connections, here's how I see things:  1) HDMI OUT AMPLIFIER ← HDMI CABLE → HDMI 1 TV.  2) HDMI BOX ← HDMI CABLE → HDMI 2 TV.  3) HDMI PS3 ← HDMI CABLE → HDMI GAME AMPLIFIER.  To get the sound from TV channels to the amplifier, I suggest you get an optical cable.  OPTICAL OUT TV ← DIGITAL OPTICAL CABLE "TOSLINK" → OPTICAL TV IN AMPLIFIER. Thank you, yes I have used HDMI 2 on the TV and I got the sound but no image!! I will try connecting the box to the TV and using RCA cables?

Good evening Louis,  Have you tried with another HDMI cable? You never know ;-)  Now, if it still doesn't work with another cable and/or using HDMI 2 on the TV, there's a strong chance that it's the HDMI board of the TV that's faulty, especially since you mentioned there were sparks...  In your misfortune, there may still be an alternative that could bring you some happiness, which is the purchase date of the TV. Since it's a model released around MAY 2014, for example, if you bought it on December 20, 2015, it would still be covered by the mandatory 2-year legal warranty. You would then need to take it to the retailer where you bought it (maybe telling a small lie) and explain the problem without really revealing everything.
