Hello,
I am a micro-entrepreneur and I primarily do online sales, so I need an internet connection. I work far from the router, and as a result, the wifi does not reach me. I am therefore connected via powerline.
I will soon welcome an intern who will need to connect her own PC to work on my site as well.
So here is "finally" my question:
Is it possible to put some kind of "Ethernet power strip" on my powerline connection so that she can connect her PC at the same time as mine?
Thank you to everyone who will come to my rescue ;-)

Hi,
you can put an Ethernet switch behind powerline adapters just like behind a real cable.

and ... There you go!

Ouhla Attention you have to speak to me in French otherwise I don’t understand anything ;-)
What is a powerline modem? The socket?
And I read that with Ethernet switches you could connect from one PC to another but that you couldn't be connected on both at the same time?

No, definitely not that.
When we talk about a switch, even in French, it's a switch, not some random thing.
A powerline adapter is a powerline adapter.
Few people call powerline adapters modems, yet that's exactly the definition of a modem; in any case, they are not sockets.

Ok so in summary, if I connect an Ethernet cable from the powerline adapter to one of the ports on the switch, then connect the 2 PCs to 2 other ports, it will work?

Yes, of course, except in truly exceptional cases.
But switches are designed for that in the first place.

Yes indeed, but the idea was precisely not to reinvest in new powerline adapters since I already own some and this is only temporary since the intern will only be here for 3 weeks...
