I’ve had my PC for only 3 weeks, and it’s very slow (page displays / opening multiple pages...)

hello  ACER Aspire3 laptop  in the search bar, type MSINFO32 and click open in the right column  in the window that opens, click on --> CTRL+A (to select all) then CTRL+C (to copy all)  when it's done, in your response, click CTRL+V (to paste the info)  @+  -- the radiation level is higher at the employment office than in Chernobyl

re  Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042   you are one version behind, we are at 19043 (21H1)  Physical memory (RAM) installed 4.00 GB   I would say that this is not normal, because on the Acer site it is stated that the PC is equipped with 8GB of RAM "as standard" --> click here  on this page --> click here  look at the line --> Performance ========  right-click in an empty spot on the taskbar --> task manager  in the first tab --> Processes, see what consumes the most  @+  -- the radiation level is higher at the employment center than in Chernobyl

Hello your PC is not powerful your CPU  " Intel(R) Celeron(R) N4500"  is very weak, don’t expect any miracles in terms of execution speed Celerons are the lowest end in Intel CPUs    If my answer helped you, click the Thank you button. Mark it as resolved if your problem is fixed.

Yes, by adding 4GB of RAM, but you need to open the PC to add RAM, and in that case, you will lose the warranty  Have your PC analyzed on the Crucial website --> click here  For the delayed version... what is the procedure to follow please to update?  Do the following:  1) Connect the PC to the power outlet  2) Close all your running programs  3) Download the W10 Update Assistant to your desktop --> click here  4) Run it as administrator (right click), and let yourself be guided during the update  PS: I'm leaving in 1 hour and 30 minutes  @+  -- The radiation level is higher at the employment center than at Chernobyl

Indeed, adding 4 GB of RAM can't hurt, and as jfmimi pointed out, your processor is really very weak. Now, it all depends on what you call "very slow." Your PC will never be as fast as a PC equipped with an i7 or a last-generation Ryzen. However, it should still be able to browse with relatively decent speed. I suggest keeping the task manager open while you browse; this can help you identify where the slowness is coming from.
