Hp Deskjet 2700 and 2720

Hello,
I just bought an HP Deskjet 2720 printer. My PC recognizes it as HP Deskjet 2700, but it especially cannot establish the wifi connection. Is that the reason? What solution can be provided?

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 90.0.4430.93

What are you doing to make this connection?

No problem connecting to Wi-Fi with my Freebox and WPS mode (long press on the Wi-Fi button of the printer until the Wi-Fi light blinks and have previously activated WPS on the box)

Hello,
Does this printer not come with an installation CD (DVD)?
If so, did you use it to set up the printer?
Deskjet 2700, basically, 2700 is the model reference for this series.

No need for a CD (not provided anyway because it's unnecessary)

W10 knows how to install it automatically as soon as it's connected (I have one connected via Wi-Fi)

At worst (for the clueless, as my friend Brupala would say), you need to download and use HP Smart

The silly person lol.....
has already done all that. I went through hpsmart and the computer recognizes the printer but doesn't connect via wifi. I even tried with my iPhone and it's the same thing....

What are you doing to establish this connection?

Do you mean that the computer sees the printer in the available Wi-Fi networks?

Not good, it's the connection to Wi-Fi Direct that will use your PC's Wi-Fi solely for the printer.
Direct connection type to be used with a smartphone

For an iPhone, use (and activate) AirPrint

The printer must be connected to your router, not to the PC

Is Wi-Fi enabled on the printer?

Do you see the Wi-Fi icon on the printer's control panel?

and not just the Wi-Fi Direct

I'm sorry, but I'm not competent in IT and all the technical language used leaves me perplexed... Yes, I have the Wi-Fi symbol on the printer that keeps flashing. The printer appears on the network. Thank you for your help, but I think I'm going to call in an outside technician: I've been trying for 2 days with remote advice and to no avail.
Just tell me, the VPN must be disabled to install the printer, right?

When you press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer for more than 3 seconds, it prints out the various ways to connect your printer via Wi-Fi.

If this is too complicated for you, indeed, I’m thinking of bringing in an outside technician directly, that’s the best thing to do.

The problem was with the box, resolved by calling SFR.
