Blurred image when exporting to PDF from InDesign

Hello,
I just installed InDesign to send a document to a printer according to their specifications (and I'm using it for the first time). I'm importing an image to test it, and I'm saving it as a PDF to see the result, but the image becomes slightly blurry (enough for me to notice). I've tried the different compression settings / no downsampling, but it always turns out the same. My base images are in PNG, very colorful because it's for a story...
What am I doing wrong? I don't understand!
Thank you!

Try without any compression..
The PNG format does not manage the CMYK space.. If your PDF export is set up to convert to CMYK for the printer, the colorimetry of your images will change...
It is better to check the rendering in image editing software and adjust the color to adapt to the RGB->CMYK conversion.

What you see in Indesign is a preview of the linked image...
To assess the final quality, you need to create a PDF or print it...
The final quality depends on the settings you select for the PDF export or those of the printer...

Your comments prompted me to look further... ultimately, it was the base images in PNG format that were problematic! So I took the scans of the paintings I had made (in PNG format) and modified them directly in Photoshop, then I integrated everything into InDesign and the PDF is now perfect!
Thank you! :)
Thank you! :)
I just tried converting the RGB to CMYK via Photoshop, and I took the PSD file to put directly into InDesign while raising the compressions (well, I also converted it to PDF via Photoshop to check). It's a little better, but a slight blur remains on the main character drawn in black and white...
Could the use of these two colors be the problem?
