You go to the Start menu of Windows and run HP Support Assistant.
In the window that opens, click on the blue link in the bottom right to start the program.
Then go to the Troubleshooting and diagnostics section.
You should have more information about what is happening, and you will be offered updates if necessary.

Download and install --> 7Zip 64 bits

Right-click on the driver --> sp62981.exe
Select --> 7Zip
Choose --> extract to "sp62981\"

Go to the Device Manager
Right-click on the device
Update driver
Browse my computer for drivers
Choose from a list of drivers...
Have Disk
Browse
Go to the unzipped driver folder --> sp62981
Folder --> drivers
Select the file --> accelerometer.inf and OK.
Restart.
