Hello,
I encountered a problem on my PC that prevents me from accessing Windows, so I am going into Troubleshoot mode to perform a system restore, but during the restore, I am asked to turn on system protection on my hard drive, so I proceed to:
Activate system protection via Command Prompt
1. Access the command prompt from Advanced Options when you cannot access the Windows environment.
2. Type this command: net start vss and press Enter.
3. Type this command: rstrui.exe / offline: C: \ windows = active and press Enter.
4. Restart your computer after the restoration to see if you were able to revert to the previous state.
But when I perform step 3, a message appears: "Unexpected error, error 0x80070057, close the restore."
Need help, it’s urgent please!!!!!!

Hello.
Type only rstrui.exe and open this function "as administrator."
But if you didn't enable this tool beforehand, you won't have any restore points available.
Still through the command prompt in safe mode, try a sfc /scannow. You will be prompted for the next restart, type Y
See you...

After that, through the same method, you can create a first manual system restore point.
See you!
