Hello,
I have a powerline adapter setup with 3 remote units. The connection to these units is unstable, and I think it’s because all 3 units have the same identifier (CPL_essentielb) with different passwords. Additionally, when changing rooms, I have to enter the new password because the computer only remembers one CPL_essentielb.
Can we change the identifier of the units to avoid confusion?

Thank you, brupala, for this advice. Indeed, it seems that we can change the name and/or the password.
However, I can't access the configuration interface by following the instructions in the manual (http://easywifi.config or 192.168.1.100), even though I am connected to the device. I tried both Wi-Fi and with a cable, but I get no response.
Is there anything else I should know?-
OK,
I haven't worked with these devices, so I'm sticking to the theory on paper.
It's likely that the address in question is brand new in factory configuration; then, we need to see if it takes an address from the box or not. If it isn't acting as a DHCP server once configured (which would be normal), then you need to change the PC's IP address to connect for management.

Hi,
are you talking about the CPL Wi-Fi network?
I’m not sure about the configurability of these devices, but generally, you can change the SSID name and the Wi-Fi key as well, so you can set the same name and key on all of them.
see page 18
it's better to configure each one on a different channel spaced at least 4 values apart, for example, 2, 6, and 10 to avoid interference.
