Hello!
I have a recurring issue with Illustrator. When I import a photo (retouched in Photoshop) into Illustrator, the colors become dull.
How can I fix this?
--> I’ve tried importing by selecting import and by drag & drop
--> I do this to crop images neatly. So I create a square, 1080 / 1080, I import my photo, make my adjustments, and then export for the web.
Usually, this works, but for some time now, my colors have been dull.

Check the workspace..
Menu "View/Print Format/..."
It is preferable to have the same as in Photoshop..
Also check the color settings:
Menu "Edit/Color.."
The best option is to sync via Bridge.

Hello,
Indeed, I agree with Contrariness; we need to ensure that the workspace is the same.
Another common mistake is that you probably worked in RGB in Photoshop and then imported your image onto a CMYK artboard in Illustrator.
