Color issues when exporting from Illustrator to PDF

Hello,

I created a menu for a coffee shop in Illustrator using CMYK. The menu includes photos. When I export to PDF, the photos do not have the same colors at all as in Illustrator. What should I do?
Will there be an issue with printing as well?

P.S. I am very, very new to this field.

Thank you

Configuration: Macintosh / Chrome 84.0.4147.105

Illustrator does not modify photos..
However, saving as a PDF can change colors if you apply a conversion profile.

Are the images you import into Illustrator CMYK images?

Good evening!
The file I'm creating in Illustrator is a CMYK file.

Okay,
but are the images you are importing also in CMYK?
Make sure that in the PDF export you are not applying a conversion profile.

The images are also in CMYK, yes.
However, excuse me, but I didn't understand about the export and the conversion profile :/

When exporting to PDF (it's the same for printing to PDF), you can modify the export by applying a conversion profile...

This is CS4, the menu may be slightly different in another version of Illustrator.
