Hello

Impossible to upgrade from Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit to Windows 10
Impossible to install Windows 10 from a CD
Impossible from a USB key
The PC works very well on Windows 8

I have this in the photo
https://img-19.ccm2.net/3MbkOrcEmqAxCZUZs5Abnp6IFAw=/1ce902d763814d89b5630c6483af3d4d/ccm-ugc/httpswww.microsoft.comfwlinkD528892.JPG

httpswww.microsoft.comfwlinkD=528892
I tried every method on hard drive and USB key; it crashes at 85 percent or shuts down directly
I even made Windows 10 on another PC of the same brand and there it goes to sleep or shuts down.

Packard Bell Easynote ENLE.69KB
Model: NO.EG70*
8 GB RAM

Year 2014 Windows 8

If you have a solution, please thanks in advance

Best regards, MP4

    Hi there, mpuissance4

It looks a bit like a component incompatible with Windows 10...

And trying the upgrade via the Internet?

      Thank you
I installed Windows 10 on older PCs and now it has Windows 8 I don’t see why it wouldn’t take the update?

This could be an important missing driver, or possibly a virus as well; if one is detected, the installation does not complete.
That said, yes, if it is compatible with Windows 8 I don't see why it would fail with Windows 10 either.

I formatted the hard drive, replaced it with another one, and it still doesn't work
I’d really like to know why it doesn’t work and it’s always the same response as in the photo above
I even installed Windows 7 and did the update, and it still crashes at 85 percent

    Hello everyone!

I may be talking nonsense, but if you updated the drivers by looking via driverscloud, and then try the upgrade again?

    Best regards

    Hello,

On this forum it would appear that a voluntary power-off of the computer just before the second boot (i.e., the crash of the Windows 10 installation) managed to resolve the problem for a few people.
