Hello, I have a problem with the NVIDIA graphics driver on my HP Omen 17 i7 2018. I've tried all the drivers from both the HP site and the NVIDIA site, as well as almost 10 tutorials, but I get the message:

*this graphics driver did not find any compatible graphics hardware* Always, I reinstalled the machine, and the driver has disappeared from the device manager. I don't know if the card is dead or what : ( If someone can help me please, I'm exhausted.

Hello,

There are several NVIDIA drivers; on mine (which is not an Omen), the one for the Geforce RTX 3050 graphics card and the NVIDIA audio drivers, it is possible that the whole thing is related to other drivers that have not been installed.

If you haven't formatted it, there is a recovery partition that should be accessible by pressing F11 on startup.

Otherwise, we need to know if the drivers are missing from the device manager or if there are any errors (and for which operating system).

Hello, thank you for the reply.

In the device manager, only the Intel driver shows up, nothing else, and I don't have any driver errors.. the problem started before I reinstalled the machine because I had difficulties opening the NVIDIA control panel. I formatted the disk except for one partition that contained my documents..

Hello

Remove EVERYTHING listed under graphics cards in the device manager and then restart the PC

Hello, thank you for the response.

As for the Intel display driver, should I delete it? I only saw the Nvidia driver once before the reinstallation, but it was showing an error, and since then it hasn't appeared. The HP Assistant doesn't detect it nor does the compatible Nvidia driver... thank you.

exactly everything, that's right, Windows will install drivers for the devices it detects

then you check what's present with dxdiag
