READING SMS FILE ".sme"

Hello everyone,

I want to retrieve information from an old SMS backup from my old Galaxy S4, the file is in ".sme",
I can't read this extension and I no longer have a Samsung phone...
What can I do?

    Thank you for the response (and sorry for my late reply, I didn't receive a notification). I can't seem to open it with Kies, maybe I could transfer it to another Samsung at worst, but I don't have any left....
    This thing is crazy!

      It's indeed a "Backup" file.
