Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy A5 running Lollipop.
It turns out I have put quite a few files on my memory card that I inserted into the phone.
But the problem is, when I open the files with the mobile version of Word or Excel, I don't know why they always open in read-only mode, which complicates my life a lot. So, I can only read them on the phone and not edit them.
I tried removing the read-only status using my computer, it works, but the phone keeps putting them back in read-only mode, and it's becoming quite a hassle.
Please, can someone help me??
Best regards.

Hello,
Actually, I resolved the issue myself because I found out that opening the file from the external SD memory card on the phone caused it to read and only be able to read the files systematically in read-only mode, as done by Microsoft Office smartphone applications.
So the solution is to place the files directly on the internal memory of the phone, and then it works; you can directly save changes made to the content from the mobile app on the phone.
Best regards.

I also have the same problem and I find the same proposed method alone.
And really, it's long to find this solution.
Thank you.
