Deleting read-only file

Hello,

I have a Samsung 5 and I'm having trouble deleting files downloaded from emails.
I downloaded the Word app, so I can find all my files, but once they're outdated, I can't delete them. It's noted that they are read-only.
What steps should I take? I've searched but only found instructions for a computer.
I admit I'm not very skilled...

Thank you for letting me know the procedure.

Configuration: Macintosh / Safari 11.0.3

Is it a word processor/file management?

Go to the basic Files app, but it's as if you're connected to a computer with all the files that make the smartphone run... Drowned in folders....
Or
An App: File Manager - Flashlight + Clock (which allows for many things) and you can sort, copy, paste, rename, find files (For photographs for example: The Gallery is just a reader.... With readers, you need to create albums (just sorting for the reader) the manager classifies better at the source.

Application files?

An App: AppMgr III - Sam Lu (which I use very regularly for internal memory optimization)
AppMgr III allows you to reset/factory reset the base/default/purchased applications.
You touch the application icon => uninstall (and it will reset it to factory settings if you confirm)
AppMgr III offers, when you touch the Information icon, the option to go directly to the application's settings, particularly storage => clear cache and delete data.
Of course, the next step is complete uninstallation if it does not work, offered when you touch the application icon.
[Without AppMgr III, it's less effective for base applications. To find where AppMgr III takes us, the keywords are: Device Settings Applications “selection” (incomplete listing) Storage]
AppMgr III will list all applications if:
Menu (3 horizontal lines)
Settings
Check to show system applications
Search for the application (it may take several attempts as one application can perform multiple functions)
Information
Storage

Okay PDF as well

It must be read everywhere, search the file or install a manager

Then to delete a message, press the PDF for 5 seconds
(Or there's an option if it’s not proposed, three vertical dots ;) )

Keep me updated!!!!
