Choppy output after recording on OBS

Hello everyone, so I have a problem with my recordings made with OBS. When I replay my videos, I notice that at times they lag a lot and make the video unreadable in certain spots.
I can’t upload them to YouTube, I would like to fix the problem before posting them.

I use a capture card connected between my PS4, my TV, and my PC.
I’m using a laptop, here are its specs:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.40 GHz
Installed RAM 4.00 GB (3.87 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64 processor

I have tried several settings in the OBS software but I can’t get a rendering without lag.

I’m recording gameplay on PS4 on a 16/9 screen and I set it to 60FPS and 1080p.

By the way, I’m wondering if this really has to do with my PC, the encoder, or something else. Please, I need help if anyone knows the topic or if anyone can tell me how I should configure OBS according to my PC specs or according to the game I’m playing.

Hello, I don't practice at all but I do some editing; I can give you a tip. I think your "little" computer is not a tool to be pushed too hard because your software requires resources to compress your file. To ease the load on your PC, you can reduce your project configuration to 1280x720, for example, and the bitrate (you didn't mention it) I would suggest 6 or 7000kb/s max for YouTube; that's enough. I'm copying a tutorial for you to help:
