Freeze issue on GTA 5 FiveM PC

Question

Hello everyone,

I have a rather annoying problem since I started playing GTA RP on PC. When I play on the FiveM mod (for RP specifically), my game starts to freeze every second, which ruins my gaming experience.

I have a good setup: Intel Core i7-4771, 3.5GHz
Geforce GTX 1060 6GB
8GB RAM (it's not huge but more than enough)

I tried uninstalling my graphics card via the device manager, then restarting the PC and reinstalling the graphics card drivers as advised on a site, but to no avail.
I lowered the game's quality without success, but the problem doesn't come from that because when I launch the game online, everything goes well. It's FiveM that uses an enormous amount of memory and I don't know why.
I go from a constant 15% to 20% usage to 95% (with 75% used by FiveM) when I launch it.

I can't find solutions to this problem, so I am relying on everyone here, hoping to find a solution quickly because I feel like I'm the only one having this issue.

Don’t worry for me, it bugs me. I’m playing and suddenly it freezes and my FiveM crashes. It happens to me. FiveM is still in development.

I have exactly the same issue as you!
I also thought I was the only one since my setup usually lets me run everything on ultra.. and now it's a disaster with FiveM.
My memory increases for no reason.
I'm eagerly waiting for a response that could save us.

So apparently, it's due to the configuration. I have 8GB of RAM but my sticks aren't great (1600 MHz), which is low. I just ordered new ones (16GB at 2133 MHz), it should work.

However, for those who haven't tried yet, you can attempt to install Source SDK Base 2007 on Steam; for some it works, but not for me.

I don't think it's a configuration problem because I have an i7 7700k OC, a GTX 1070 OC, and 16GB of RAM, and yet I'm freezing too.

I'm also experiencing a freeze and Five M crashes while my friends do not, but I have a question. I'm currently on Windows 7 while they are on Windows 10. When I open Five M, a message appears where I have to click OK, while they don't have that. So maybe that's where the issue comes from. If you have any answers or anything, I'm all ears. Thanks ;)

It's really not normal to have stutters; I have enough config to run FiveM, and when I'm going full speed in the city, I lag a lot. I have 8GB of RAM at 1600MHz, a 1050Ti, and an i5, so what will you do? Do you have a solution?
