Choppy mouse Solved/Closed

Question

Hi everyone!

So, here it is, I've had a problem with my PC for several months now. I had already posted previously, but no one bothered to reply, so I'm trying my luck again.

To explain quickly, often my mouse starts to stutter for no reason; it lasts about 30-40 seconds, then it stops. When I say stutter, I mean it's not a small stutter; basically, I move the mouse, and on my screen, it moves with a 5-6 second delay. So when I'm playing a game or something like that, it quickly becomes impossible, and even in normal use, it's unbearable.

If it only happened once a day, it would be one thing, but no, it happens every half hour.

As for the source of the problem... it's not a virus; I've looked everywhere and found nothing. I thought it was coming from Chrome, but it turned out not to be the case. I updated my drivers and thought it might be the network card, but that's not it either...

I have a friend who has the same problem and doesn't know where it could be coming from either.

For the info: My PC is about 1 year old, has 8GB of RAM, and if you need any other info, just let me know.

Yes, I changed my mouse 3 times

By the way, among the 3, one of them was constantly malfunctioning, never stopping; I had to swap it with the one from my laptop, and it became completely normal on my laptop.

Just a quick update, I want to clarify that the bug occurs most often when I perform an action on the computer, for example... when I'm playing games, when I'm editing videos in Vegas (for instance), but it has also happened to me sometimes when I wasn't doing anything special at all (just browsing the internet, you know).

Another problem, this morning I turned on my PC around 9 am, I uploaded a video on YT, I came back to the PC right away, and the mouse was lagging like crazy again, except it lasted more than 5 minutes

And the video finished uploading at least... 3 hours ago?

run a scan with Malwarebytes:

update it
perform a full disk check
delete everything it finds
restart
copy/paste the report after deletion in your reply.

So =.. by "Perform a full disk check" you meant doing a complete scan on the disks? If so, it's done, and I would have sent you a report but... it found nothing, not a single "malicious element" detected, so... weird

I have 3 partitions: one of 100MB, one of 126MB that I can't delete, and I can't install Windows 7 on it.  I have one of 931GB with 447.5GB free.  When I try to install Windows 7 on it, it tells me that it will install over my old version of Windows 7, so far so good.  But if I install this new Windows 7, will my old data (basically the 500GB used) be deleted?
