Question

Hello, for the past two days, when I start my MacBook Pro, I get this error message:

Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0)

(the launch of this "thing" has failed)
I searched the internet, and the only answers in French concern home automation processes like controlling roller shutters or managing my Linky meter.
I haven't done or installed anything in that regard and haven't actually installed anything on my Mac for months.
(the only thing related to Enedis and my electric meter could be an eligibility test for the main circuit breaker in my apartment that they asked me to do a few months ago, but that test was simple and done on their site via photo, without connection to my meter)
The English sites and forums often refer to an online command process called JASON, but I don't understand that at all.
I cleaned my machine with Onyx, CCleaner, and the Mac tool, but the message still appears at startup.
Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of this intruder?

Hello,
I launched a free antiviral Bitdefender Virus Scanner.
I turned off my Mac and then turned it back on: the message "error while installing ...." has indeed disappeared, which I had been seeing for 5 days.

Below are two buttons:

Cancel OK

The OK button is blue

The message appears immediately after the installation of Finder.
Whether I click OK or CANCEL does not change the functioning of the Mac.

Thinking about the recent changes to my computer, the only change that happened simultaneously and two days prior is the discovery of a new interface for my Orange email account, with the disappearance of the option to refuse cookies from Orange and their partners,
an option that was offered to me every time I opened my email.
It is worth noting that I use Ghostery and Adblocker on Safari

Good evening, The same issue appeared a few days ago on an iMac 2013 running 10.10.5. No recent actions on this device nor any ad blockers. An external factor?

Thank you for this link which therefore indicates the solution to follow:
• install the tool Malwarebytes anti-malware (free) in your "Applications" folder
• launch the tool and if the scan discovers any malware, then you need to activate the deletion option and then restart the Mac (Apple menu () then "Restart")

Hello, I fixed the issue by following Oceandrifter's suggestion. (thank you).

It turns out that many of us have this message at startup.
Apple tried for a while to justify this problem by suggesting a hardware issue... It is clear that the problem is not there since we don't have the same machines.
So, I installed a demo version of Malwarebytes and started hunting for malware, cleaned up, and then ran CCleaner and Onyx.
Finally, I checked the permissions with the Apple tool and verified my settings in Safari and Chrome.
The message has disappeared and my computer is behaving much better.
It was indeed a malware or relatively spying software.
Other participants in this forum seem to have cleaned their computers with other software. The problem has been identified for some time now.
If you use Malwarebytes, make sure to download the version corresponding to your version of macOS.
Below is a link where you should find the correct version.
