How to update or install patches for a purchased game

Hello,

How do I update or install patches for a game purchased on STEAM?
I've tried searching, but I see pages on STEAM saying that a new patch is available for X game, but it's just text and there's nothing to download on that information page.

So can you tell me how to download game updates or patches?

My game is F1 2020.

    Hello,

    Updates are installed automatically by Steam. If you have just installed the game, it is already up to date.

      Huh, it seems to me that I've never seen an update happening on one of my games on STEAM?

        Updates are applied automatically when they are available. If you don't check the downloads, you won't see them.
        A purchased game is installed with its latest version, which already includes the update.
