Unable to play a 3D Blu-ray on PS3

Hello everyone,

I have browsed the forum, and I am looking for a way to play a 3D Blu-ray (Despicable Me 2) with the Playstation 3. My TV is indeed 3D, and I am connected via HDMI. The system version of the Playstation is 4.87. The message on the screen says, "This 3D Blu-ray disc requires a 3D HDTV & 3D Blu-ray compatible player or a Blu-ray player that has been updated with the necessary firmware to enable playback of the 3D movie. 2D playback is not available with this disc."

    Hello

    You need to go into the display settings of the PS3 as well as the television depending on the HDMI input, do an automatic search for compatible formats, it should show you the formats from "standard" to "1080p 3D" along with the screen size.

    Otherwise

    Start the PS3 and hold down the power button 0/I until the second "beep," your PS3 will detect the HDMI connection and also the 3D TV.
