Hello
I've been having an issue for about a month now. One day I turned on my computer and it was like all the settings I had changed had disappeared, replaced by the default settings: no wallpaper, no history, and no bookmarks in my browser. All software settings have been reset to default. The shortcuts on the desktop have disappeared.
When I try to open a document, I get the following message: "The deployment operation has been blocked because the deployment of special profiles is not allowed. Try logging in to a non-special profile account. You can try logging out and then logging back into the current account, or try logging into a different account." I then have to redefine which software should open each type of document.
The worst part is that when I reset my software settings, they revert to default configuration every time I shut down my computer.
While looking through the user folders (C:Windows/users), I noticed that my files haven't disappeared from my user folder (C:\Users\Dam Dou), but a folder has appeared (C:\Users\TEMP) and it turns out that all the subfolders (downloads, videos, etc.) from this TEMP folder have become the default folders. If I download or save a document in this TEMP folder, it disappears when I turn off and on my computer. If I move it to a different folder, no problem.
I should mention that there are several sessions on my computer and that I log in the same way as before this issue appeared.
I'm using Windows 10 Home 64-bit.
Do you know why this problem has arisen? How can I recover my session and my settings?
Thank you in advance.
Damien
