Hello,
I would like to customize the notification sound for receiving messages in my Gmail inbox on my iPhone 11. I am following the process step by step, but despite that, a default sound persists, and even changing the sound several times does not help. For receiving SMS, for example, it works perfectly fine.
Do you have a solution?

Hello,
To change the sound of notifications for received emails, open Settings and go to Sounds and Vibration. Finally, select New Mail and set a new sound.
You must use the Mail app for this setting to take effect. Otherwise, go directly to the settings of the app you are using to change the notification sound. -

I indeed used the method described, but the sound produced is not the one chosen, just a brief beep. I've tried to change it, but nothing's happening ????? -
