Hello, after putting a Rhino Shield case on my AirPods 2, I can't remove it, I think it's because of the stickers on my earbuds. How can I take it off?

I got tricked twice in a row, I put them back the first time... the first time placed upside down could explain it
the second time I had to pair the AirPods Pro again... but the back button was unreachable in the Kinder Rhino case. No matter how much I pressed...
Anyway for me:
Cut a strip from a loyalty card to have a tab to insert between the shell and the case on either side of the opening for the bottom port. I had to adjust a length to have a kind of handle to push
To ensure both sides fit in gradually, I had to... tap with a wooden mallet briefly, gently but surely several times. Then continue with the mallet
Be careful to remove the AirPods' weight to avoid their ejection and the cap
I also inserted a cotton swab once the tab was inserted on both sides as a precaution to tap on the tab and not the case
A priori no damage but I'm avoiding looking too closely at it ????♀️
I'm giving up on this case
