Hello and happy new year to everyone,

I just tried to make an Amazon order payment via SEPA for the first time.

Amazon seems to say that the payment is denied and is asking me to check my payment options.

The account balance has been sufficient for several consecutive days.

I successfully entered the information requested by Amazon when adding the payment method.

I usually pay for my Amazon orders by credit card without any issues, but the amount is too high for this order...

Could you help me find a solution to this uncomfortable situation?

Hello,

The order amount is less than 2,000 euros.

I haven't had any significant expenses in the last month (on a rolling basis)

Is there no debit authorization to allow Amazon to charge…?

Again, it is with your bank that this needs to be addressed.
No special authorization is needed (even though it is a security issue that has already been mentioned).
