Hello
I live in France and I can't watch some series on TF1 and France TV on replay: the message displayed is "For reasons of rights granted to France TV, this video is not available from your geographical location (CH)."
I understand that the PC identifies my location as being in Switzerland, but I am indeed in France and to prove it, when I'm at friends' houses a few dozen kilometers away, I don't have the problem.
Can someone please help me?
Thank you

Hello,
Maybe someone can provide you with explanations. But for your information, as a moderator of the site, I have access to the beginning of users' IPs; you are identified under 2 different IPs, Bouygues ISP and CCM locate them well in France and Switzerland.

So two IPv4 addresses,
one in France, assigned to Bouygues and one geolocated in Switzerland at Zscaler, strangely managed by ARIN so in America, for Europe it’s RIPE.
Either you have a proxy or a remote NAT (half VPN) configured in your browser, or something installed on your PC that routes your connection through another machine at Zscaler.
You need to check if all this is normal.
Once again:
IP address geolocation is the last burden of the current internet :-(

and … There you go! -
Hello to both of you and thank you for your responses :-)
However, as a novice, I didn't understand everything :-( To solve my problem, if I disconnect the scaler, should it work?
Will it have an impact on my virus protection?
Thank you -

Hello Brupala
certainly… I wonder if it’s not that Zscaler?
how do I solve my problem?
Thank you-
I don't know who it is and why he's here, check with your company if the PC is for work, but I suppose it's a VPN.
Probably something like that

Yes, I use it for work and also for personal reasons, when I'm not working in general in the evening ;-)
